# Welcome to OTSea

OTSea is a blockchain-based, peer-to-peer exchange platform that holders of ERC20 and SOL tokens can leverage to maximize their returns from the tokens they hold, as well as find potential discount and private exchange opportunities on the market.

The goal of OTSea is to provide traders with another avenue for selling and buying tokens, bypassing liquidity pools. Our smart contracts allow traders to avoid slippage and buy/sell taxes. In essence, it is trading the old fashion way, peer-to-peer, with our smart contract as the intermediary - with some added bells and whistles, of course. 

The majority of the fees from the protocol's trading volume is paid directly to token holders who will benefit directly from the OTSea's growth. As of August 27th, we have distributed over $900,000 to stakers.
